It's best to get a manual from an auto parts store. It will give you a step by step instruction with diagrams.

Were can i get an installation guide for ultimate supreme wood heater 25

Certainly not in the "Cars and Trucks" section of an online repair forum. There are no cars or trucks that use wood burning heaters that I am aware of....at least not since the Stanley Steamer....and I can't find any manufacturer-published service information for that one.

Your closing in. There is a motor that will open the heater core venting to allow it to blow into the car. Get a heater core install picture from your auto parts dealer or car dealer for specs of where and how it is driven.

My vent is stuck on floor position and heater control assembly wont switch to dash were do i start to fix problem on 83 cutlass supreme

The thing to do is check for vacuum leaks. In the engine bay look for any "hoses" coming from the firewall. These are for the heater contols. If any of these are broke? Replace them . Have you installed a after market radio? Sometimes heater controlls get messed up. I would take the radio out and examine the heater controlls.

The heater blows warm not hot and sometimes cool

1. Most likely an open (or missing) thermostat. (install new thermostat)
2. Could also be the heater core is clogged. (flush cooling system and fill with proper antifreeze.

95 cutlass supreme leaking coolant from what looks like firewall overflow plus steams upwindshield

Your heater core has gone bad and needs to be replaced, If you go to Auto Zone you can pick up a new heater core and they will have the step by step instructions to doing the job yourself. If your lucky, may be the radiator hose to the heater core has failed at the cores pipes and it's only the hose that needs to be replaced but thinking not. You can get by pass the heater core for now so you can still get around till you pick up the new Heater core. Follow the two hose that goes to the fire wall and disconnect both of them from the pipe from the firewall, then with a pipe and two clamps, connect the two hose together and that's how you by pass the heater core. Good luck friend and hope this helps.
