How to open right side mirror indicator light of i45 2010 model

Indicator LED's can run for a very long time. It will not kill a battery that's in good shape for weeks. During long term storage, it's recommended the battery is disconnected. If these are the courtesy lights in the side mirrors, the lights will turn off on their own.

Easy peasy. Adjust mirror fully one direction or the other, right or left. Grab mirror glass through the gap created, pull hard to remove mirror glass. Light bulb assembly will be exposed for simple swap. Use a #194 bulb of your choice (there are many choices at your favorite local auto parts dealer). SELECT YOUR CAR

check owners manual the side mirror housing has to be removed before you can replace leds lights on side mirror.you can look on you tube for procedures replacing side mirror leds lights inside mirror.

Did this model come with mirrors with lights in it? If your and any other model similar to yours didn't then you will need to do a bit of wire trickery to get them to work.
I am assuming that the mirrors have indicators in them, if that is the case you will need to add a feed wire from your side repeater lights up to your mirrors and play home electrician.
Otherwise if your model did come this mirrors with indicators as an option, the wiring is most probably already there and you will need to find it and connect it. Then find the fuse boxes, as there is often more than one. Check and see if it was pre fused is not you will have to fuse it.
Mirrors should have come with instructions if bought as a kit.

When you are talking about "indicators" we could assuming that your are refer about signal lights. This work with "flashers" devices.

For 1996 Audi A4 2.8L SFI 6cyl the Flasher is located in front seating area, driver side, under dash, behind dash lower panel, mounted above driver side of steering column.

Hi, try to see if the cables that enter the right mirror case have any damaged insulation due to collision. But before this check a menu at SETTINGS\CONVENIENCE\ about mirrors that enables a synchronized adjustment of both mirrors. This should be set at "individual".

check the wiring inside the mirror. it sounds like it is shorting possibly pinch when you closed the housing

Look at the second page of the diagram at the link. The flag "E" in lower right has power coming from the switch. It goes to the instrument cluster, right mirror turn indicator, and right front turn bulb. Is the instrument panel light blinking? How about the mirror? Use these facts to find the break in the wire. If none of these lights is blinking, the switch may be broken, as yadayada indicates. See page 1 at the link. It has a separate contact for the rear light, which is why the back can work and not the front, even though the switch is broken.
