I have a 2004 dodge durango and the lighting volt stable is on my dash

It has to do with the Electronic Throttle Control. ( as per the owners manual)

12. Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Light 5.7L
Engines Only
This light informs you of a problem with the
Electronic Throttle Control system. If a problem
is detected the light will come on while the
engine is running. If the light remains lit with
the engine running your vehicle will usually be drivable,
however, see your dealer for service as soon as possible.
If the light is flashing when the engine is running,
immediate service is required and you may experience
reduced performance, an elevated/rough idle or engine
stall and your vehicle may require towing. The light will
come on when the ignition is first turned on and remain
on briefly as a bulb check. If the light does not come on
during starting, have the system checked by an authorized

7.5 l engine. Starts well but idles a bit roughly. Check engine light illuminates intermittently but does not stay lit constantly. Thanks!

If you have a check engine light the best thing is to read the codes and find out what the problem is. Many shops like Aamco read codes free.

You mean when do you know your spark plugs are not working? Your engine will run rough and your check engine light will be lit. You'll have codes of P0301 through P0306 depending on what cylinder it is.

My throttle sticks before i push it down, my engine runs really rough on idle (the autochoke does not seem to be working and the check engine light has just lit up.

Could be a few things. If you can get the vehicle to an auto parts store, they can read the code for free and tell you what the fault code may be.
