Is there an access panel on a 2004 chevy classic to change the fuel pump?thanks jim

No there is no panel the fuel tank must be removed to replace the pump module. Easy job have done quite a few. about 3 hours.

In the under hood fuse / relay box . Fuse #48 15amp F/P - INJR , Relay # 18 fuel pump . GM Fuel Pump Relay Testing

The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. You must drop the tank to access the pump. Make sure you drain as much fuel as possible before you drop it completely, it will be much easier to handle.

no,your anti theft device is activated,you need to lock and unlock your doors a couple times with the key fob,not the key,and then you need to put the key in the ignition and start it,if you dont have your key fob,call your car dealer to get a new one,they are programmed for each car only,you cannot bypass it.

clean injectors, changed fuel filter, check for hose and pipe for clogging, check fuel pump relay try it by bypassing relay, check oil sender, (3pin Oil sender)

absolutely you can take off the splash sheids in fender and you can take off the oil filter please rate my response thank you very much

Also do not let tank run low because fuel in tank keeps in tank pump cool. This is why the pump is in the tank.
