do not change the batery. If the car still runs fine the problem is a blown fuse. Find the fuse panel, On the back side of the fuse panel cover is the fuse location chart. Look for the cig lighter fuse it is probably 20 amp

Front armrest cig lighter inop cannot find fuse. checked all fuses in trunk except maxi fuses. driver found chewing gum wraper in socket

Look behind the glove compartment. There may be a fuse block location similar to the old Silver Spurs. I really doubt this is going to be anything serious. Is he in posession of the Owner's handbook. It should give the location of fuses for instances such as this and is written for the driver for proper maintenance.

Hi M,
Are you the M from H M Secret Service? You've no need to shoot me! Take the car to a service agent and have them reset the service range on their scanner....It should be done electronically and will best be done with the service tool provided to agents...

WHERS THE FUSE BOX AND WHAT NO FUSE IS FOR CIG LITER AND AMP 1976 SILVER SHADOW

The fuse block for these models should be right behind the glove compartment door or the panel right below it. Listed on there should also be the numbers and assignments for the fuses.
