Question about 2005 Ford F 350 Super Duty

2005 6.0 F350 died out and wont start

My 2005 6.0 was trucking along and just died like someone turned the key off and will not restart to save my life. The engine just turns over and over but won't hit a lick. I've talked to several people at the ford dealership and a couple of local mechanics and a few shade tree mechanics and they all told me to try a few things, 1st I tried changing the cam sensor, then tried changing the oil injection pressure sensor, checked all of the fuses and relays all were good. I've change the fuel filters and even left the cap off the upper fuel filter and turned the key on to verify that I were getting fuel at least to that point. I have a ODB2 module scanner but wont retrieve any codes. Cant afford to take it to the shop and damn sure cant afford to keep throwing parts at it. Most people tell me they don't know a whole lott about them that they normally just take them to the shop.

Yes the switch was blown that was the first thing that I checked. after resetting the switch you could hear the fuelpump turn on but still no go. With switch being blown it leads me to believe there is an electrical problem that I am over looking.

Did you check the fuel cut off switch. On that it should be under the passenger side glove box mounted to the side where the door is. You have to reach up and it should be a red button.

Shut 05 Ford f350 diesel off wont start

dies the truck restart once it cools off? it is very common for th 6.0 to have high pressure oil issues on a hot soak. they will run till the cows come home but once shut off they can not build up enough pressure by cranking speed alone to start truck until it cools down and the seals become rigid enough to bridge the gaps they are sealing in the first please. if this is the case. it may be the STC fitting ojn the back of the high pressure oil pump (intake and turbos must be removed to check) or possibly the branch tube o rings have worn. the branch tubes are located under the valve covers and supply the fuel injectors the oil they need to perform their "power stroke"...

that's good but it still doesn't rule out a leak in the high pressure oil system. When you turn on the key do the injectors buzz like normal? Usually 5-10 secs
