What size ratchet (wrench) do I need to adjust hand brake?

Normally you never have to adjust lever, all adjustment normally is done at brake shoe assy.
To adjust the cable, there is a 10 or 12 mm bolt in between the two cables. Clockwise tightens, counter-clockwise loosens.

Is the hand brake really easy to pull??? You may have to adjust your hand brake cable. I found a video on how to adjust the cable.
Hope this is helpful :-)

2005 jeep liberty brake lights don't work, none of them but fuses and brake light switch are good.

maybe brake light switch located near your brake petal needs adjusting...its simply a push button that the brake petal hits as the brake petal is depressed usually u can just pull on them toward you and they'll "self-adjust" after pressing on brake petal...push on brake petal with ur hand and make sure this button is depressed while the pedal is down...

How do I adjust the hand brake on my honda accord euro 2005 model

If you are having problems with it holding you need to locate a large area that you can clear and back up in safely. You need to get up to about 5 miles and hour, in reverse, and stomp the brake pedal hard. This will activate the auto adjuster on the rear drums to tighten them a little at a time until you have the hold you desire. If those are not working have the rear drums and pads checked. The hand brake is nothing more than a Manual activation of the rear brakes operated by a cable attached to it. The cable itself may have an adjustment on it but that will make no difference if the pads are worn. Normally this adjustment for the cable is either under the vehicle or you will need to open up the center console so you can reach a twist adjuster. If your issue is a long movement area, having the pull the arm up too high, then the issue maybe cable stretch but I doubt that is the problem on a vehicle that new.

Have 2005 mustang, can the emergency brake handle assembly be tightened by removing consol

If you meant only the brake handle mountings then it is possible but if you mean for tightening the play on the hand brakes you will have to adjust from the bottom the play adjusters at the lever end so as to establish a good pressure for the hand brake to act..

How do I remove rear rotor from 2005 hyundai tucson

What you have to do is first remove the screws that hold the rotor on to the hub, let off the hand brake shoes(they are located inside the rotors) there is a rubber plug on the face of thr rotor, take that off and loosen the hand brake adjuster! remove the brake caliper and caliper carrier and the rotor should come off! hope this helps

Hand brake nissan pathfinder

If you lift the hand brake you should find an adjustment nut (I think it is 10MM). Tighten that and you should be good to go. Be careful, it doesn't take much to adjust - turn gradually/slowly.

i hope i was able to help you with your problem! tc!
