I purchased a 6 pack of Noma Par20 50W bulbs from Canadian Tire Oct./15. As of last night, the 6th died after only 9wks. Was this a "bad batch"or is 10 weeks a normal lifespan for these bulbs?

They are rated for 2000 hours of light. Most applications don't allow you to know how many hours the light is on for. The biggest drawback to these is they are a halogen bulb. Those bulbs generate a lot of heat and this shortens the life span if they are not installed in a place that allows for good ventilation.

Testimonial: "Thanks, I understand the drawbacks of halogen spots, they are installed with max ventilation as were the Sylvania and Phillips 50W halogens that lasted up to 3 years."

Made in China? If the failure was the internal casing for the filament then it was QC issue with contamination

We bought the indoor/outdoor Multi-colored c7 led light reel#151-3447-0 of 150 lights, 62ft 9in. and would like to know if one light burns out, will the other lights stay lit?

No they are wired in parallel, so not it will not disable the others. In the old days they where all in series and that meant the circuit stopped at the burnt out bulb, I think you just gave away your age here.

What color is the wire going to the taillight

Well does it go on at all ever or what? Get a electrical tester and make sure your getting power. If not check the fuses. If by chance it is getting power take your bulbs back and get a new pack. I fumbled with what I thought was a faulty light then wiring it would work whenever the heck it wanted. I sold the car and the guy I sold it to went to a autozone and they told him it was a bad batch of bulbs that I happened to get a pack of. I didn't sell the car for the bulb mind you but was very surprised after my 6 months of messing with the wiring and the bulb socket. So in all sometimes its the simplest things that keep us confused. Start with those options.

Replace heater control panel bulbs

1. use old bulbs as samples by gently removing them with a soft cloth.2. Go to autopart shop or walmart, target or Canadian tire and you will find replacement bulbs. 3. Make sure you mark or place each old bulb into an envelope so you know where to put the new bulbs.

6 weeks ago, my car 2002 civic would not start. It made this really weird clicking noise..A guy jumped me and then all of a sudden it worked fine. He said the posts needed to be cleaned though, so I had...

the clicking noise was due to the bad battery. the starter solinoid was not getting enough power to turn it over. try this if possible, engine off at battery should be at least 12.6 volts. start the car and if alternator is ok, it should read 14.2 to 14.7. if not repair alternator. what happens, is the voltage regulator in alt. goes bad and will not supply enough current to battery. good-day !

I just purchased a 2003 Buick Century (one owner car) and the right front turn signal lamp went out, so replaced the bulb and it went out again a few hours later. What could cause this? My mechanic...

Is the bulb really burned out, black or wire in bulb broken,If ok have the bulb socket contacts checked to see if they are the problem or posable bad ground for that bulb.

Tire Pressure light is on. Tires look fine.

Need to test them with a gauge,if the tire is 15 pounds low you may not see a difference in the tire but the sensor would tell you if there is a 2 pound drop between all tires.

1999 plymouth grand voyager headlight.. How does one see the road at night when the liht covers can't be cleaned to let out the light?

Replace the headlight assembly. Aftermarket headlight assemblies sell for about $60 to $70. Upgrade your bulbs to brighter, whiter lamps to increase visibility.
