Question about 2005 Ford Freestyle
Everyone... I have ordered a regulator for my Freestyle compressor. Its small and goes in the back of the compressor behind a plate. I've read Freestyle forums and apparently this is what goes bad in the compressor making normal mechanics think the whole compressor needs to be replaced. It is known as a scroll compressor and has to have this regulator working correct to operate. I have the same issue as everyone else, no cool air at idle, moderately cool at highway speeds. My regulator is on the way and I'll be installing it within the next couple days. Hope this fixes the issue.
