Buzzer stays on

Reach it with your hand while it's buzzing. Now you know where it is. Unplug it and it won't buzz anymore. If you want to know why it buzzes all the time, find out what feature operates that particular buzzer, then you may get some insight on the cause of it's buzzing.

From your description of the knocking, mileage, and oil crusted on the intake valves you need an engine or a complete rebuild of the original.

OIL PRESSURE BUZZER COMES ON AT 2000 RPM AND STAYS ON

Hi

Either there is too much, not enough oil or the oil pump is failing. Very common on this engine that the oil pump will fail.

Hope this helps. you could try a treatment through the oil if you suspect it is a blockage.

Gauges say no pressure in engine 1995 vw golf

There are two pressure switches. One for oil pressure and one for a dirty oil filter. Are you sure you've changed the right switch. If car drives for 30 mls it doesn't sound like you need an engine. The spluttering is likely to be completely unrelated to the oil warning I suspect.

Oil indicator blinks and buzzer sound in VW golf

The 2.3 l gasoline engine uses 20W50 oil above 20 degrees F. I used a lower viscosity oil and had the same problem until I went to the 20W50 oil.
