Yes and a relay. Go to ford.com/ownersmanual. The manual will tell what the fuses run and the relays.

Not only check the fuse, check the fuse circuit for voltage, hot all the time, use a test light. You can unplug the fuel pump relay and use a jumper wire between terminals 30 and 87, hopefully the pump will run. If does, problem is on control side of relay, needs voltage and ground, the control side is the symbol that looks like a coil. The load side of relay is that line with arrow-head.
Also, note the inertia switch. At the moment, I can't rule out the fuel pump itself?
Any other problems, engine cranking, you have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse? Any applicable trouble codes?

The car turns over , has spark but is not getting fuel, think its the little electric relay on the e

You can jump the relay. If it is a four pin relay, look at the bottom of it you want to jump #30 and #87 in the fuse panel. This will power the pump. Make sure the fuse is good. Still no pressure/fuel. Most likely the pump has failed. Check codes first. It could be the fuel pump module that has failed.

Changed fuel pump relay and fuse. still no fuel

What make , model an year vehicle ? Did you check for Battery + voltage at the fuse an relay FIRST ? You test before replacing parts . Take a volt meter an measure for voltage at the fuse then at the relay ! There are four pins on the relay an four holes the relay plugs in two , Two of these holes should have Battery voltage , One is the control from the engine computer that energizes the relay coil . The last hole is the wire that goes to the fuel pump. You could jump pins 30 to 87 , if you look on the side there is a diagram . Also on the bottom sometimes the pins are marked 85 an 86 an 30 an 87 ! The last two 30 an 87 are the load side , the fuel pump side . You could jumper 30 to 87 ,direct power to the fuel pump ! You have to test the electric circuit ! GM Fuel Pump Relay Testing How do you know you have no fuel pressure ?

Fuel pressure

Well most engines have a mechanical pump on the engine, but the E350 models used for motor homes and box vans also use an electric pump in the tank. The pressure rating is still 5-8 psi like the mechanical pumps.
Have you replaced the inline filter ?

My '87 Aerostar van died and won't start. I replaced the fuel pump and it didn't help at all. The fuel pump won't run. What's wrong with it?

There are two things to check relative to the fuel system first locate and press the reset button on the inertia switch this switch disables the fuel pump but usually only deactivates the fuel pump if the vehicle has gone over a curb been jacked up really high or some type of traumatic vibration or bump has occured. The other thing to look at is the fuel pressure regulator, it is located somewhere on the top of the motor at the end of the fuel rail if you see that ti is wet with gas it should be replaced the last thing to do is to check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail it should be a minimun of 30 psi of fuel pressure. One more thing ensure that the fuses are good and all the connections to the pump are ok and not dirty or damaged and the pump's plug has power to it when the key is in the on position.
