My Volvo 2.0t 2001 dont want to start

Firing order is 1-3-4-2

It might not start because of a dead battery, starter. Altenators charge the battery. I wouldn't consider buying it, If I counldn't hear it run.

Do it at 60,000 miles, it is cheaper than a damaged engine-Volvo had different recommendations:
All models - 1999MY: Replacement of timing belt and tensioner every 80,000 miles or 8 years.
1,6/1,8/2,0 - 2000-01MY: Replacement of timing belt and tensioner at the following intervals:
90,000 miles/8 years.
186,000 miles/16 years.
1,9T/2,0T - 2000MY: Replacement of timing belt and tensioner at the following intervals:
66,000 miles/6 years.
138,000 miles/12 years.
210,000 miles/18 years.
2,0T - 2001MY: Replacement of timing belt and tensioner at the following intervals:
90,000 miles/8 years.
186,000 miles/16 years.
All models - 2002MY : Replacement of timing belt and tensioner every 96,000 miles or 8 years.
The previous use and service history of the vehicle must always be taken into account.

You should never mess around with the distributor if you don't know what your doing! It can throw off your engine timing. Dont start your car my friend. Tow it to a shop and get it done properly.

According to Volvo the Transmission fluid change interval is every 52,500 for heavy use vehicles ie. towing.

In reality you should change it every 30,000 or so depending on your driving. By 30k it starts to varnish and discolor. There are several Volvo dedicated websites that give you the process if your mechanically inclined v70r.com is currently my favorite. Brickboard.com is also a good one.

This site has a few write ups on various things and operations for flushing.

Just be aware that as in the beginning of the write up you have a P2 car and the fluid flow is reversed. This means you will need to take off the lower cooler hose on the radiator. Yours will be held on by a differant clip as well. You will need to press in on the two green tabs while rotating and pulling the hose out.
