The heater in my excel blows cold air only . The dimist still works just no heat what should i look for?

There are several things that you can do about a heater blowing cold air, but if you keep running into problems then it might just be time to call in a heating repair company. If need be, here is a useful article on: HVAC installation cost, and how to get a fair price. How serious of an issue this is depends greatly on where you live. If you live in the north (Bozeman, MT, etc), then I'd recommend you have your furnace inspected annually to ensure that it is working properly. I'd also recommend that you install a backup means of heat...just in case. ASM has over 25 years of heating and air conditioning experience. If you have questions about a heater blowing cold air or any other HVAC related topic, try the ASM Air Conditioning and Heating Blog or if something your contractor is telling you seems expensive or doesn't sound quite right, consider using our Online Air Conditioning Consultation Service.

Carburetor in my 84 nissan pickup will not idle down from 3500 rpm, why won't it idle down

Hi Shane,I have a 85 Nissan 720 4x4 with the 2.4 engine, had her for 22 years, our trucks have bad carburators, when I bought mine used,it had 108,000 miles on it and my carb started giving me problems, with the ideling, took it and had it rebuilt by 3 different carb shops at 200 a whop,no one could get it right,so I took it to the Nissan Dealer, they told me that they couldn't rebuilt it cause the bottom part is not assible, and told me that they were a bad design,so I did some research and found out about Weber carburators,so I bought one from redline, they cost 269.00 with kit,it's been on my 720 for 6 years now, plus I got a new remanufactured engine from Jasper engines and had a jasper installer put in in at the same time I put the new weber in.I spent a fortune trying to get the stock carb. right.I have 328,000 miles on the truck and it runs perfect.I plan on keeping my truck forever and that's the reason I put alot of money in it,A couple of months ago I redid the interior,it is now gray, was black,I live in Georgia and it is hot. Here's a video of mt Weber conversion,I have more pics and videos in you would like to see.My phone number is 706-580-6110 and my name is Tommy.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5Fe9N0q2Kk

Right reverse light out

a/T or m/t mines a manual 6speed. so... why not say that first.?
new car, its under warranty why ask?
sure not helpless, id find it.too. always have.
check fuse under hood, on huge box there.
fuse box called TIPM
wire fell off the TRS switch (a/t)
i have no 2015 books ,car is too new for books.
i looked in my 08 JK
there is no fuse for backup lamps. (jeep names)
the TIMP has a high power electronic driver that drives this lamp set.
how it works is this.
the body computer see PCM shift comms. live
the driver shifts to Reverse, (a/t or m./t)
the PCM sees this and sends digital serial data to the TIMP
and it drives the lamps.

on the MT car , the MT reverse switch wire s directly to the TIMP.
simpler.
fixya pathetic reductions..... useless.

My honda accord 2004 / steering is so hard when i make a turn, parking and reversing plz any answer

steering hard. (the fsm covers this , read it)
  1. wrong fluid in pump sys. , low fluid,?????
  2. air in fluid, hear whine?
  3. belt fell of, Duh factor 1.
  4. the belt tension is wrong, it slips, set it to spec.
  5. the pump is bad,
  6. or the steering RACK side is bad. jammed or ?
  7. Tire pressures insanely low.?
  8. ball joints seized.
  9. V6 engine version has metal lines, some kinked or crushed.
any shop can find this, why not take it in and get it fixed.
or read the FSM
or login to alldata.com and read the steering section.

as you see, all this is a hands on deal, no web bunny is going
to guess right or tell you what is bad.
the tests takes tools., non of which you have.
try fresh factory spec, fluild..
never mix brands of fluid or types, (honda)

my fsm says
Always use Honda Power Steering Fluid.
others say.....
Honda is clear color, by the way, it will be plainly obvious if you use ATF.(red)
Wally World has prestone PS fluid for Honda/Acura
I use Valvoline Pyroil HPS-12 "Honda/Acura power steering fluid."
The viscosity is different in Honda fluid. It's something like 54 cSt at 40deg.C and 11.3 cSt at 100deg.C.

Honda fluid is a must if you live in an area that gets cold weather.

I have tried other "Honda approved" fluid and the steering was very stiff in cold weather.
more here on fluids.

YMMV, your fluid may vary. YFMV?
