By process of elimination!
one door at a time so disconnect 3 & keep changing the active one till you find which one isnt working
then test its circuits ok
Cheers rob.

Why does the fuse immediately blow on my power door locks? how to fix this?

You have a short somewhere in the system. Maybe one of the lock actuators or a switch. To test disconnect all locks and switch then replace fuse if don't blow start with driver door and reconnect lock check fuse see if it blew if not reconnect switch active lock check fuse see if ok. Continue with each door separate using same steps until fuse no good you will have found short. Replace shorted part.

Where is the power door lock fuse?

look on the left or right hand side of where the door panel meets the side of the dash, may be a small finge rpull type door, fuses are behind it,, or check under the hood at the relay center box

1996 dodge ram 1500 keeps blowing 30 amp engine control fuse

Look for a part of that wire cable that is rubbing on metal somewhere or that some mechanic pinched under a bolt or drilled a screw through. It may take some time but the closer you look at that wire from end to end the faster you will find the problem. Blowing a 30 amp fuse means something is shorting out pretty good so go find the short.

See if there is a fuse for the locking system and remove it. If it stops, then you need to inspect and test each lock switch. One is intermittently shorting.

Hi:
Your most likely problem area is your alternator. It would be a good idea to remove it and have it checked . Most auto parts stores will check them for free. Usually if you have a short in the rest of the truck, the fuse blows, and it doesn't drain your battery. Weak diodes in your alternator can bleed your battery down.....
