How do I repair a broken key on keyboard?

The # eight wouldn't work and I removed the key and now there's a gaping hole.

If this is an HP keyboard the meys can be put back together and put back on. If it is a Dell I would get another keyboard as most of the time you can't fix them. Goodwill is a great place to boy a used one.

Ignition key will not go into ignition switch

check there is no obstructions in key hole. its not uncommon to put fluff in the key hole from removing key from your pocket over time it will block the key hole.

Lost the wheel nut key for x type local dealer suggests only way to remove is to break them out. a bit drastic im thinking. surely jaguar keep master keys or similar

No master key They are made by McGard

EVERY repair shop has the tool to remove them,
very popular tool set

May insult the professionals & other experts here,
but I never recommend a dealer & now you see why

I think about half the 300 people a day here, on this site
alone, have dealer issues or they wouldn't be here

All of a sudden all three keyholes didn't work. When you try to turn the key, it doesn't turn so you can't unlock the car. Its the same problem for all three keyholes including the trunk. I...

If the keyholes were not used for some time - then the grease in there could turn into stiff mass. Try put some wd40 in the keyholes and try to turn around with a key - watch out so that the key wouldn't break and stay inside the hole. Good luck

Went to start my car, wouldn't start, key was stuck, wouldn't shift, battery wasn't working, heard a clicking noise in the door, radio flashed once, console light up several times. Help! ...

The most commonly diagnosed component is the shifter and/or shifter solenoid on your Impala.
GM issued a bulletin on this problem. Contact your dealer, they are aware of the problem and you could be covered under warranty. Below is a copy of the bulletin.

Speedometer broken

The connectors to the speedometers printed circuit are not making a good connection. Remove speedo to repair. Common problem.

Hatch latch broken

did you try some WD 40 in the key hole and then working the key back and forth gently? Even tapping the key hole with a tact hammer to giggle the tumblers inside after you lube it up may fix the problem. If this doesn't work then the next step is a new lock. How do i remove the power steering pump on a 1992 buick oldsmobile ninety eight regency elite???

Remove the belt, Remove the 2 bolts that hold the pump to the engine by using a socket and extension through the hole in the pump pulley. Remaove the 2 hoses. you may have to pull the pump out through the wheel well.

I have power door locks. The lock mechanism works properly. Only the driver's side door won't unlock. Can't unlock it manually with either the switch or the key. Before it quit it was difficult to turn...

There is only one way i can thimk of. Buy new panel , brake old one and open door.. There is no other way exept if you can drill a hole exectly where the lock is and push a rod in to open lock. Otherwise get locksmith, they will now what to do.

I am missing my number eight spark plug assembly and wiring harness. I need to know what parts are needed.

plug coil pack and harness repair plug. check plug hole for threads chances are the threads are gone out of plug hole if so you will need a repair kit also.
