Maybe you mean B0040 , because there is no B0004 ! Maybe you should think about taking your vehicle to a qualified repair shop !

My 2002 Buick Lesabre starts and idles rough like its trying to die could it be the fuel pressure regulator

It could be anything, but fuel pressure is down on the list. Look for vacuum leaks, dislodged hoses, cracked hoses....much more common for problems there.BUT take the car and have the error codes pulled. Something is amock and the codes are clues. Not answers or the culprit necessarily, clues...

2002 buick lesabre check engine light on. need a

It would be better if you got the codes read and then post back with the code. There are numerous codes that can cause the check engine light to go on.Auto Zone will do this for free. There are a few other parts stores that do this for free also.Hope this helps.Good luck.

I have an 88 buick LeSabre/ vin "C"/ 3.8 with a trouble code 26. It only comes on going up hill

Hi! I have enclosed 3 trouble trees for you. The code being stored is a quad driver error. Quad(which means 4)drivers control up to 4 things. They are located in the engine control module. They provide ground for the items that they control. This could mean a component that the driver controls could be bad or the computer itself. Hope this helps you!deb334a.gif911608a.gif925db0e.gif

You need to get the computer scanned to see what the "trouble code" is. The light is on because the computer found an error.

1991 Buick with 3.8L Cam Sensor

The cam sensor is the "high voltage switch", more commonly refered to as the distributor.

You are probably trying to figure out why you have a cam-crankshaft correlation error code.if the distributor has been disturbed for any reason i.e. tune-up or intake gasket repair, it is not aligned exactly. Tweak it slightly and restart the engine. if the code goes history, you got it. P.S. it may even be unplugged.
