Re: (DY6-US-DGA2636A) I sent this heater in for recall on 8/31/16 from the UPS store #5227 in Bel Air, MD. Where is it??? ???

This is the 3rd time I've contacted you to find out where my machine is in the process. I was told it would NOT be refurbished but would instead be replaced. When last I called around Halloween, I was told it was shipping from the warehouse and would be to me in less than 2 weeks. It is now 4 weeks later. I would like to have my heater now while I can use it in this cold weather.

The blue link is connected to my 2017 Santa Fe however on the app that I have downloaded says that my vehicle does not support this feature. It's a new car and I dont understand why. Please explain.

If the app is not supported then you are out of luck and can't use it. That is just how they built the car and you have no control over the decisions about this.

How can i get the heater core out of my 2006 toyota corolla

Hello, the heater core is a small heat exchanger located inside the truck, similar to the radiator at the front of the truck. Coolant is circulated from the engine through the heater core and back to the engine. The heater fan blows fresh, outside air through the heater core; the air is heated and sent on to the interior of the truck. For Toyota Pick-ups/Land Cruiser/4Runner 1989-1996 check this reference repair guide...

(see Figure 1)
  1. Drain the cooling system.
  2. Remove the heater unit assembly. Have a lot of towels handy for the leakage of coolant that may spill into your interior.
  3. Remove the fasteners securing the core to the unit, remove the plates and clamps. Pull upwards to remove the core from the unit.
To install:
  1. Inspect the core fins for any blockage. Using compressed air, clean them.
  2. Install the core into the unit placing the plates and clamps into position. Tighten the core screws.
  3. Install the heater unit into the vehicle.
  4. Fill the cooling system.

On March 25th I sent my Nissan Pathfinder into a shop to fix a check engine light. The code that came up was P1456-Vapor canister Check Valve. They fixed it. Then April 3rd the check engine light came on...

this is common with heaters they dont last forever aslong as they are willing to show you the different codes at different times there problay being honest dont be suprised if they suggest replaceing all the o2 sensors at once its actually cheaper on diagnostics time and the all should be replaced for the vehicle to run 100 percent on a scan tool you can tell the difference between old and new o2 sensors by the way they react especialy the heaters i hope this helps Thunderboltz

How do i go about putting a big block into a chevy bel-air

The big block should mate up to the trans. just fine if it's a T-350 or T-400 trans. that you're using. You'll have to change the engine mounts and your accessory brackets to the big block application. The fuel pump, I believe, is going to be different. The carb. linkage will be the same. Your exhaust may not bolt right up depending if you're using headers or not. The distributor will be the same as the small block. The guage hook ups will be pretty close to the other engine.

I need info on the replacement of metal heater lines that go from heater core in front along firewall to metal lines that go rearward to rr heater core on van with frt and rr heat/air.

Not sure what information you need, but before you spend a lot of time call the dealer and give them your vin number. It does not matter how many owners, but there was a recall on those lines around that time. If yours is one of them they will replace the whole set of heater and air conditioner at no charge to you.
