I have a 92 accord LX. I am in need of changing the Right upper control arm. I am not sure how to go about this. Any information would be much appreciated.


Replacing the upper control arm is an easy job, you will need to remove the front wheel, open the hood, you will remove the nut on the balljoint for the upper control arm to spindle, then use a fork and hammer to sperate the two. the next step is to remove the two achor nut in the engine compartment on the strut tower area. and out comes the control arm. you will need to have an alignment done after this job to align the front end. heres a diagram to help you locate the balljoint nut and the achor nut. hope this is helpful.10_22_2011_11_10_13_pm.gif

Fuse box diagram 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee


on my 1995 jgc the fuse box is all way on the right side of the dash you have to open the right door to open the small cover the diagram is on the back of the cover you removed to tell which circuit they control. the power distribution center out by the battery has the larger fuses in it and also what circuit they control. I hope this will help you.

Need the torque settings for a '94 cutlass supreme sl 3.1 in reference to the cylinder heads I need the sequence and the torque if possible a diagram


Heres the diagram and specs for the cylinder head and also i have enclosed the torque specs for the intake and its tightening sequence, good luck and hope this is helpful, have a good day.
Cylinder head bolts. Step 1) tighten to 44 ftlbs.
Step 2) tighten an additional 95 degrees.

Lower intake bolts. Step 1) all bolts are tightened to 115 inch lbs.

Need to replace heater core? how do i remove old one and replace new one?


Here are the instructions with a diagram. If you need to enlarge the diagram save it to your picture files and then enlarge it there.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain cooling system. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust\Cooling System\Service and Repair

2. Disconnect heater hoses from heater core. Plug heater hoses and core fittings to prevent coolant spillage.


3. Remove bolt located below windshield wiper motor, attaching left end of plenum to dash panel.


4. Remove nut attaching upper left corner of evaporator or heater case to dash panel.
5. Disconnect vacuum control system supply hose from vacuum source, then push grommet and hose into passenger compartment.

6. Remove all instrument panel retaining screws and pull instrument panel back as far as possible without disconnecting any wire harnesses.
7. Loosen right door sill plate and remove side cowl trim panel.

8. Disengage temperature control cable housing from bracket on top of plenum. Disconnect cable from temperature blend door crank arm.

9. On models w/Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) , remove cross body brace and disconnect wiring harness from temperature blend door actuator and disconnect ATC sensor tube from evaporator case connector.
10. Disconnect vacuum harness at vacuum connector near floor air distribution duct.

11. Disconnect white vacuum hose from outside recirculating air door vacuum motor.
12. Remove two hush panels.

13. Remove one plastic push fastener retaining floor air distribution duct to left end of plenum. Remove left screw and loosen right screw on rear face of plenum. Remove floor air distribution duct.

14. Remove two screws from rear side of floor air distribution duct to plenum. To remove right screw, it may be necessary to remove the two screws attaching lower panel door vacuum motor to mounting bracket.

15. Remove push fastener attaching floor air distribution duct to left end of plenum, then remove floor air distribution duct.
16. Remove two nuts located along lower flange of plenum.
17. Carefully move plenum rearward, so that heater core tubes and plenum case upper stud clear openings in dash panel, then remove plenum from vehicle by rotating upper portion of the plenum forward, down and out from under instrument panel. It may be necessary to carefully pull lower edge of instrument panel rearward while plenum is being removed from behind instrument panel.
18. Remove retaining screws from heater core cover, then the cover from plenum assembly.

19. Remove retaining screw from heater core inlet and outlet tube bracket.

20. Pull heater core and seal assembly from plenum assembly.
21. Reverse procedure to install.

Instrument Panel Removal
  1. stv~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif WARNING: THE BACKUP POWER SUPPLY ENERGY MUST BE DEPLETED BEFORE ANY AIR BAG COMPONENT SERVICE IS PERFORMED. TO DEPLETE THE BACKUP POWER SUPPLY ENERGY, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY GROUND CABLE AND WAIT 10 MINUTES.
    Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301).
  1. Remove the access cover from the bottom of the steering wheel (3600) and disconnect the driver side air bag module electrical connector.
  1. Open the glove compartment, then pull the access panel from the top of the glove compartment. Disconnect the passenger side air bag module electrical connector.
  1. Remove the four console compartment plastic screws or C/D changer cover plastic screws (if equipped) and the console compartment door (045G36) or C/D changer cover.
  1. Remove the two LH inner instrument panel lower cover screws and the plastic nut.




  1. Remove LH inner instrument panel lower cover (044L97) and disconnect the foot lamp electrical connector.
  1. Remove the two RH inner instrument panel lower cover screws and the plastic nut.
  1. Remove RH inner instrument panel lower cover (045G22) and disconnect the foot lamp electrical connector.
  1. Remove the plastic screw, two lower screws, two center bolts, two upper screws and the screw at the instrument panel bracket, then separate the glove compartment from the instrument panel (04320). Disconnect the glove compartment striker plate catch electrical connector.




  1. Remove the two instrument panel to passenger side air bag module bracket bolts.




  1. Remove the four passenger side air bag module nuts and the passenger side air bag.
  1. Remove the RH instrument panel screw.




  1. Remove the four C/D changer screws.




  1. Remove the C/D changer and disconnect the C/D changer electrical connector.
  1. Remove the instrument panel ash receptacle (04810).
  1. Remove the two upper center instrument panel finish panel screws and the two lower center instrument panel finish panel screws.




  1. Remove the center instrument panel finish panel and disconnect the cigar lighter socket and the cigar lighter illumination lamp electrical connectors.
  1. Remove the two instrument panel ash receptacle bracket screws and the instrument panel ash receptacle bracket. Disconnect the instrument panel ash receptacle lamp electrical connector.
  1. Carefully pry the center A/C register from the instrument panel.




  1. Remove the hose from the ambient temperature sensor and disconnect the ambient temperature sensor electrical connector (if equipped).
  1. stv~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result. Refer to Module Service Procedures in Section 18-01 .
    Remove the four radio chassis bracket screws and pull the radio chassis (18806) and climate control assembly from the instrument panel.
  1. Disconnect the three radio chassis electrical connectors, the antenna lead, the three climate control electrical connectors and remove the radio chassis and climate control assembly.
  1. Remove the plastic screw, the two instrument panel steering column cover screws and the instrument panel steering column cover (04459).
  1. Remove the four LH instrument panel reinforcement bolts and the LH instrument panel reinforcement. Disconnect the diagnostic electrical connector.




  1. stv~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result. Refer to Module Service Procedures in Section 18-01 .
    Remove the instrument cluster (10849). Refer to Section 13-01A (electronic cluster) or Section 13-01B (conventional cluster) for the removal procedure.
  1. Disconnect the seat belt warning chime electrical connector. Remove the two seat belt warning chime screws and the seat belt warning chime.
  1. Remove the four steering column nuts and lower the steering column assembly.
  1. Remove the two LH instrument panel screws.




  1. Remove the center instrument panel screw.




  1. Remove the LH inner duct screw and the LH inner duct.




  1. Disconnect the power outside rear view mirror control switch electrical connector.
  1. Pull off the upper portion of the LH inner door opening weatherstrip. Remove the windshield side garnish moulding (03598).




  1. Pull off the upper portion of the RH inner door opening weatherstrip. Remove the windshield side garnish moulding.
  1. Remove the instrument panel upper moulding (04268) and disconnect the sun sensor electrical connector (if equipped).
  1. Remove the light sensor amplifier from the top right side of the instrument panel and disconnect both light sensor amplifier upper and lower electrical connectors (if equipped).




  1. Remove the instrument panel center nut.




  1. Remove the two instrument panel upper bolts.
  1. Remove the instrument panel from the vehicle.

How do i change sparkplugs for 2002 mercury couger v6


To remove the spark plugs, remove the covers and you will see how simple it really is. The spark plugs are hiding under the covers.



Not only you will have to lift the covers, but to reach the back three you will have to remove the valve cover. Here's how to:

1. Remove the water pump belt cover (the black cover in the front of the engine compartment that has ?Duratec? on it.) If you have a 1996+ vehicle, you should think about removing it permanently, since it only serves to trap heat and slowly kill the IMRC box electronics.
2. Disconnect the following electrical connectors from the: MAF, IAT, TPS, IAC, and EVR. The EVR connector is black and is located at the very back of the upper plenum, next to the firewall.
3. Disconnect throttle cable from the TB and the cruise control cable, if equipped. For 1995 5-speed vehicles, take care not to lose the metal clip for the throttle cable when you are removing it. Once the cable is removed the clip will slide right off.
4. Disconnect the vacuum lines from the EVR. You may have to wait until the upper intake is unbolted and partially removed for better leverage.
5. Disconnect the vacuum lines from the top of the upper intake. Push down on the black plastic collar with a screwdriver and hold, and then pull the plastic line out of the intake.
6. Remove the air box along with the MAF and accordion tube.
7. Unbolt the throttle cable bracket from the upper intake (three 8mm bolts, one 10mm nut). Set bracket and attached cables aside.
8. Disconnect the air bypass hose at the upper intake. It connects right next to the IAC valve.
9. Disconnect the hose from the PCV valve that goes to the upper intake, underneath the throttle body. This is also a good time to change the PCV valve.
10. Unbolt the EGR valve from the upper intake.
11. Unbolt the upper intake. 12. Carefully remove the upper intake and set it on top of some clean rags or newspaper. It will likely be oozing some oily gunk out the bottom.
13. Cover the openings of the lower intake with clean rags to keep anything from falling into the openings. Anything that falls in will likely end up in the head or the cylinders themselves.
Now you are free to remove the back plugs

How to set timming belt,cant find mark for crankshaft 3.0L


Timing belt removed, static timing was not set before removing timing belt.

[Set Static Timing:
No.1 piston is brought up to TDC before removing timing belt.

Cam gear has a punchmark on face of gear, and this mark aligns with one single tooth. There is a matching punchmark on the Timing Belt Rear Upper Cover.

Facing the cam gear, the mark is to the upper right. There is an 'egg shape' of the timing belt upper rear cover, in this spot. This punchmark is in that 'egg shape', and is close to a bolt hole. The cam gear mark lines up with the Timing Belt Rear Upper Cover, mark.

The crankshaft gear has a punchmark on the face. It lines up with one single tooth. There is a corresponding punchmark on the lower right side. An alignment mark)

Should be a round punchmark on the face of the crankshaft gear. It lines up with a single tooth. Wipe the gear clean, use a little carb cleaner. (NO flames, or sparks nearby, well ventilated area)

Barring you cannot find the crankshaft mark, find the camshaft alignment marks, make sure they are aligned with the alignment, (Punchmark), on the Timing Upper Rear Cover.

Count the teeth in the timing belt. There should be 133 teeth on the belt.

There is 43 teeth in-between the timing mark of the camshaft, and the timing mark on the crankshaft.

(43 teeth in-between the Right Side Camshaft mark to crankshaft mark, 43 teeth in-between the Left Side Camshaft mark to crankshaft mark)

There should be 40 teeth in-between the two cam gears.

The Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) is in the right hand front of engine compartment, mounted to upper radiator support.

Locating camshaft positioning sensor on 2000 Daewoo Laganza


hi,
it is under the upper timing belt cover between the camshaft gears. According to the manual touching anything related to timing belt requires removing million parts including right front wheel. I suspect this might be an overkill just to remove upper timing belt cover.

So my advice would be to get it done by some mechanic as u will not be able to do it and may damage other parts also.
