How do i replace a heater core on a 1986 Dodge Ran Van 318 engine need to see something to show me how to do this

the heater core is inside the cabin behind the dash. some cars and trucks are easier to get to. if you can see the water lines in the engine compartment you can follow them to the firewall. if they go through the firewall they are inside the cab and you will need start removing the inside panels and maybe even the dash. this is not an easy job due to finding all the connectors and screws to remove the panels. then you have to get in the heater box and and change the core and then put it all back the same way you took it apart.

the chime may its own power source

i could be wrong
i thought chime was separate to sound system speakers
and comes from a small but loud sound device on the instrument panel circuit board ..much like a computer

rear doors have a child lock in the door that you can set to stop children opening the door from the inside. IT is normally in the rear flat section of the door and is a small lever.. I think that in working on the door this lever was moved to the lock position . You should be able to open the door from the outside if this is the problem

Where is the computer (brain) located in a 1997 ford escort

Try Looking on the inside of the car behind the front side foot/kick panels. (located at the foot sections/spaces in the front of the car on either the passenger or diver sides. (i.e. Behind the panels on the inside of car, close to the floor, behind the panels on the sides where you or the passengers feet go.)
Found mine there.
G'luck mate, :)

you must remove inside door panel all the screws going into door including screw for inside door handle. you will be able to reach it then. try not to break any brackets surrounding screws(you will have a loose door). took me 15-20 min.

My 99 kia sportage power windows will not work.

Try the relay under the steering wheel, behind the panel that is held by two bults hidden under removable covers. Also two screws at bottom of panel. power goes to the fuse before the relay.

I just had the same problem and took the panel off by taking all the screws out. Some are hidden behind black covers including one behind the door handle. My problem is now getting the door panel back on to the door. Haven't figured out how it goes back on.
