I have a Daewoo lanos 2000 mod just over 110000 on the clock and it shudders then the check eng light comes on the shudder is quiet big

25 + 30 degrees+ 15 degrees big end
18 + 30 degrees+ 15 degrees little end

sounds like you have a over heating issue most cars no a days will kill power and shake like this.the computer is like a back up safety tokeep you from destroying the engine.because when you let it set for about 30 minutes or so you can resume driving normal till the temp gets in the red I assume then it will start shaking and big loss of power.have you cooling system checked out to make sure.hope this helps you out.

The warning light is telling you the computer has found a problem that is affecting engine performance and fuel mileage. A flashing light means it is something serious.
You should have someone scan the computer for trouble codes and go from there. The codes will help direct the mechanic as to what to test.

It means that the car it's having a problem and it's giving a troublecode to be analysed easier.

Take a run into Autozone, or Pep boys, or similar big autoparts store and they will do a free code scan, to point everyone in the right direction instead of guessing, and throwing parts at it. If the fix isn't obvious after codes recorded, get back to us with code(s) and will help you out if still needed.

You can check your motor mounts. They can cause your engine to shudder. With the hood open, have someone shift into drive and watch the motor. If it rocks severely more than likely your motor and/or transmission mounts are broken or ate bad.

had a similar problem and replace the coil pack - all fine now
