Question about 1995 Ford Mustang
I have a 95 mustang gt conv. 5.0 auto. Im using my scan tool to check for shifting problem, While driving, the car shift normally but if you hit the pedal hard, it will slip from 2nd to 3rd. However the check engine light is not on. but my scanner is not reading so I checked the fuses and its seem to be ok. I replaced the ecm with a rebuilt one and is doing the same thing. It wont communicate. Im wodering if someone here has a wiring diagram for ecm, voltage reading... this is new to me. Never encounter a problem like this one. thanks.
Most shifting probs on the late model vehicles are caused by the shift solenoids or the vehicle speed sensors. look at that first, then figure out when you last had the trans fluid changed and the filter replaced, and the bands adjusted.
