Thank you but that sound i was referring to sounds like the motor rattling when i hit the gas a the stop sign then it goes away in park i can hit the gas a never hear it

It very well could be an internal engine noise. Make sure the oil level is full. You can put the vehicle in gear and while holding your foot on the brake, apply the gas. If it is internal, the noise will most likely be there. If it is a high mileage engine, it could be a rod/crank bearing starting to go and will eventually get louder and more frequent. Most auto repair shops will have a mechanic listen to the noise and advise free of charge

Clicking noise goes away when braking

Look at the constant velocity joints on that side. When the rubber boot tears it lets road dirt in which fouls the grease and allows premature wear on the cv joint components.

Metal on metal noise

most likely the throw out bearing is at fault. when you push the clutch a spinning bearing pushes the clutch plate away from the flywheel disengaging trans so you can switch gears. the transmission has to come away from the engine to fix it.

My 2003 Ford Focus started making a grinding noise when in reverse and in right turns. After driving about 20 miles the symptoms disappeared. The symptoms have gotten progressively worse, vibration and...

Check the front engine mount..If its bad it could make a noise while turning or reverse..Hold the car in gear with your foot on the brake and carefully raise the engine it in both reverse or forward and look for excessive movement..

When my toyota is idling in gear there is a ratle that sounds like its coming from the engine. In park and neutral it seems to go away.

most likely it is an exhaust heat shield. block the wheels, set the parking brake and put it in gear so it makes the noise. now get out and go down the exhaust system and press against each shield to see if the noise goes away. when you find the culpret rip it off and you are done.

Corolla kicks/jolts when shifting gears.

I am trying to understand your problem. Check engine mounts. Have a driver in the car, hood open. Start car, foot on brakes, shift from park to reverse and back again. Shift through all gears, look for unusual engine movements around engine mounts area. Left foot on brakes, press gas in drive and reverse;watch for excessive engine movements. Be careful as you perform these steps. You may also want to check drive axles. Keep me updated.

Humming Noise in the gear box

more than likely a worn bearing in your gear box, if it is every gear i would say input shaft bearing or output shaft bearing, unless it is while the car is stationary then depress your foot on the clutch if it goes away the its the thrust bearing in the clutch, also could be the spiggot bearing which will humm with car stationary clutch in or out. hope i have helped.
