I looked at info for the v6.
Two voltage circuits at starter motor. One comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other goes hot with key in crank position and is wired through neutral switch, then comes the starter relay. Use a test light to check for voltage. The starter motor grounds through engine block. Any testing, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set. There are fuses involved, not only check fuses, check voltage on fuse circuits. Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good.
