Question about 2000 BMW 3 Series
Similar problem - my fan either blows slow, or full taps irrespective of speed setting, or doesn't blow at all.
I notice the auto button doesn't swtich off - wonder if there is a ghost in the auto machine making the fan twitchy?
The auto button has been like this for some time, but the fan problem is new.
Hi , this sounds like the hearter resistor has become faulty , other symptoms include the battery going flat due to the blowers opperating even when the ignition is switched off, hope this is of some help , regards mark .
