Question about 1989 Mazda 626
Does it Try to Crank over or does it just click?
If it just clicks, your starter might be done with, the brushes wear down and need to be replaced, if you can find someone to rebuild your starter, or you can buy a new one/refurbished one and have it installed.
If it trys to crank over then it could be many other problems such as the distributor might be out of timing, Spark plugs might have been worn down, Air intake might be clogged, Fuel pump might have given out, or fuel filter might be clogged.
