Check again you missed something or got the order wrong or installed a defective part. If it ran before the tune then it only makes sense.

Do you have any engine codes present ? Are you sure your firing order sequence is correct ?

Have you checked for spark at the spark plugs ?

Why is my 2003 Jeep Liberty- Starter turning, but eng won't start (intermittent problem)?

you didnt stated the symptoms correctly

it either cranks or it does not.
that means the starter ACTUALLY turns the cranks shaft over
robustly.
the crank shaft damper pulley is the clue to this , it turns or not.
if it always turns this is a :
cranks ok but wont start.
so, that means tune up the engine,
1: low battery voltage (slow cranks)
2: never tuned up this decade?.
3: bad fuel.
4: weak spark at any of the spark plugs, sure all must be good.
5: flooding, (wet spark tips)
6: fuel starvation.
7: any of 50 other engine mech. issues,(burned valves, is 1)

The car turns over but won't start. just had a tune up, new plug wires, air filter, spark plugs. fuel filter. sounds like a clunk from the engine when it's turning over.

possibility that who ever performed the tune-up messed up the firing order and now it does not want to start and you get a clunking noise from the engine is because of this.

My husband did a tune up on my car yesterday and now it wont start it will turn over like it wants to start but it wont he said that its miss firing we have bought 3 new coil packs and still will not start...

If your car is miss firing and your husband changed the coil packs, the wires leading from coil packs to sparkplugs must have got crossed. This will change car timing which will result in the car miss firing. He needs to go over wiring and correct problem for car to run right. You can go online to autozone.com and type in Info about car to get the correct wiring layout.Your problem isnt the new plugs n wires. Its the wiring layout.

I have a 1975 dodge D100 miss fireing

The correct firing order for the engine is 1=8=4=3=6=5=7=2. Standing in front of the engine the right bank is odd numbered. and the left bank is even numbered. Also check to see if you are getting fuel to the carburator. Hope this will help you.

My car wont start, its not battery, just had tune

Is it acting like its out of gas. Also is it turning over but not starting. are u getting spark from ur spark plugs. When it was tuned up did the shopmess up the firing order of the distributor especially its a newer car. it could be teh fuel pump, filter etc. if its one of those its usually back by the tank. Also to see if ur getting spark u can pull a spark plug out plug it into one of the wires and set the spark plug on part of the engine and have someone turn it over u will see spark out of the end of it if u dont then thats ur problem. also it may be a relay. Overall u will want a manual so it can be pinpointed better also run some codes on it if u know how to.

Changed distributor cap and now van wont start did not have firing order . we now have correct firing order. van was possibly flooded from checking firing order. now carborator is smoking and engine wont...

I would pull the plugs and let the gas into the cylinders to dry out , you may have a hydrolock engine after putting so much gas into it , recheck the firing order to be sure is OK ususlly when you see a carb backfiring and smoking the firing order is not right

My 1991 honda civic runs fine yesturday and today it wont start please help

the car wont start? do you mean the engine wont turn over or it wont fire or run? if the car does not run but it turn over, check the basic..see if you have sparks and fuel, then check all your fuse pertaining to engine and ignition. the car need to have both thing in order for the engine to run. If you getting both sparks and fuel you engine may have jump time especially with older car with high miles, it the sign timing belt getting worn, you don't want it to break. if you don't get fire from spark plug then you may have a bad coil, distubutor, rotor or timing sensor. if you get no fuel, fuse blown, bad fuel pump relay or fuel pump it self. hope that help some ..good luck

98 dode ram wont crank no spark

May have no spark due to a bad crank sensor, which is responsible for spark when it gets a pulse through the cars' computer.
