Unplug it and hotwire to battery...even if you get it wrong, it should run backwards (engine fan) use only one hot lead to blower...it is already grounded at case (or should be)

Overheating 2001 ford

Check coolant level then make sure that the heating system is working on the hot side, once you've warmed up the engine check that all the water pipes are warming up ok, once the engine has reached its normal operating temperature you should hear the engine cooling fan cut in, if the engine coolant fan hasn't cut in at the right time you'll have to check the wiring and fuses for the cooling system.

Electric fan wont kick in jeep over heats replaced thermostat and two sender units

Sounds like your cooling fan relay is bad the jeep grand cherokees are known for this, first thing i would do is unplug the radiator cooling fan and run 2 jumper wires direct from the battery to the fan connector if the fan kicks on your fan motor is good and the relay is bad, if the fan doesnt kick on replace the fan motor with a new unit, the cooling fan relay on your particular model jeep is located under the passenger headlight and requires you remove the front bumper to replace it, however some people cut a small hole under the headlight to access the relay the faster way but if your not to keen on cutting holes in your car remove the bumper and replace the relay if the fan checks out and you wont be overheating anymore...

Cooling fan problem

NO DON'T!!!!!!!!!!! You'll blow it up! Go to someone like Forddirect who will get you the fan without changing the rad. What is cheaper, a radiator from a scrappies, or a new engine? They are set up for a reason, not for fun. Good Luck.

Engine cooling fan not cutting in Peugeot 206 2002 Cooling fan and motor have been replaced with main dealer parts

Try the cooling fan switch, it looks like a large brass nut with wires on it on the thermostat housing or radiator.
To test, pull off the wires and connect together, turn on ignition and the fans should cut in.
If they don't it could be the relay, fuse or broken wire.
The switch is easy to replace, unscrew and rescrew in the new one. Connect the wires, not important which way the wires go, and refill coolant.

The car over heats when cut it off

It is possible that your cooling fan is not working. First check that the wires going to the cooling fan motor are plugged in. If you have A/C you may have two cooling fans check both. If wires are good. With the engine cold start the car. Let the car run until the engine is hot. See if the fan comes on. If the fan does not come on the motor or the relay are probably bad.

Cooling fan

Yes you need to unplug the heater and use the heater plug to apply 12v.you can get your 12v from the accessory or cig lighter plug.Do you have an old appliance that you plug into the socket/if so cut appliance off and check wich is positive wire.Make sure to check the blower motor as well,no good blowing it up if its still ok.
