Question about 2000 Acura TL
I have a 2000 Acura EL (Canadian made). When car reaches ~ 60 to 80 KM/h, begins to shake when keeping at a steady speed. The shake feels like your car is driving over a cattle grate, or like the sound your tires make when you veer off the highway and run over the deep grooves on the shoulder of the road. The shake goes away when you accelerate or decelerate, but remains as long as you hold a steady speed. The car just had new plugs, wires and ignition coil, but the shake has been there before these repairs. Coincidentally - after this repair the check engine light is on. The mechanic said the car needs a new catalytic converter.
Get your tyres balanced, makes a HUGE difference and the tyres last longer too.

I had the same problem, it felt like the engine was shaking apart. Took awhile to find it. It turned out to be a broken armature on the alternator. The proper voltage wasn't being sent to the computer.
