Fuel pump location on a 1987 Mitsubishi mighty max

Electric pumps are located either in the tank, or in a little protective box or cover right near the tank (like Subarus, some toyotas, hondas). Check around the tank, maybe follow the fuel line back from the front-you'll find it.

Cant slide caliber on slide bar to remove is there a bolt if there is what size for 1987 mighy max truck.should i break off

this is a slide, this means its frozen with rust, you will need to spray wd40 on it and work caliper off this slide, this is done by lifting it up and down on the slide as you push it off, with it removed you can then see the head of the bolt to remove the slide and clean it on a wire wheel, also make sure the rubber boot is good and not ripped, if its bad replace it to avoid water and dirt from entering and seizing it again, good day

Torque specs for mighty max

Per my Chilton's manual tehe bolts should be (cold engine) 65 to 72 FT. Pnds., the cam shaft bearing bolts should be 8x25 = 15 - 19 Ft pnds and the 8x65 should be 14 - 15 Ft Pnds.

The sequence is as follows for the (10 ) head bolts:

7 - 5 - 2 - 4 - 10

9 - 3 - 1 - 6 - 8

I hope this may help,
Tom

Intake to head bolt torque

Intake bolt torque is 11-14 foot pounds. Note:
to torque bolts & nuts, start in center using
crisscross pattern working outward. And as Far as the sealant goes, you shouldn't need any additional sealant since the new gasket has sealant.(just make sure both surfaces are clean an free of oil.) sometimes if the head or the block show signs of pitting on the matteing surfaces then you could use a litttle of that cooper spray gasket to coat the new gasket.
