Question about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country
I had the resistor changed....But the AC is still not comming on. If I turn the van on it will not come on but if I am driving for a while it will kick on for a while then kick off again. The guy who fixed it said it is becauce I did not get the original factory part and the one I got is getting hot and therefore is not causing the AC to come on. Is that possible because to be honest the van is 7 years old and I can not find the original part (that looks the same as the one he removed) anywhere. What do I do?
Hello I will try and help, the resister does not cause the fan not to run.It only gives you speeds on the fan,it should still work on high if that was the case,If the blower is cutting on and off,it is most likely the fan itself going out,but pull the fan switch itself and look on the back where it plugs up and see if it is burned. If the resistor was bad to begin with, the the fan caused it.If I can help any more let me know, and provide more detail if you would,,,,email@example.com
