Does the shake match tire rotation or drive shaft rotation speed? If it's at tire rotation speed,have the new tires been dynamically balanced on a brand name motorized balancer?Re balance them that way.If a wheel weight has come off you will have a shake.You can also rotate the tires from front to back and see if that helps.Also,brake rotors can be out of balance and even with a perfectly balanced tire,the rotor can throw the balance off.
This is due to poor settings of the wheel bearings,tyres,- check balancing once again, wheel drums/ brake pads,suspension , joints and steering.
In all the entire front suspension must be checked, the WHELL ALIGNMENT must be checked with precision and each of the wheels must be checked for damage on hub, axle or chassis.
You will need to check things logically. Run the truck in the air and note where the vibration is at. Take the wheels OFF and put a few lug nuts to hold the rotors on, take the truck to 45mph or whatever the vibration is the worst. is it still there? if its gone, check wheels/ tires. if its still there, check rotors, axles. A drive shaft will make a rapid vibration at low speeds since it turns 3 to 4 times faster than the wheels. does it vibrate on or off the gas? Can you power through the vibration like go 60 and then coast back through? You have replaced a lot of parts that would not cause vibrations. Are you just changing parts willy nilly or is someone actually checking and verifying that these parts really bad?
You need to have someone look at it that is experienced in NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness). Front end vibrations can be caused by many things. Each possibility needs to be systematically eliminated to find the cause. Someone who is experienced in this can eliminate several possibilities by simply driving the vehicle...Did the tire shop even bother to road test it? I'll bet not!
Sometimes INTERNAL tire problems can cause a vibration that cannot be found (or eliminated as a possibility) by putting the tires on a balance machine. To eliminate this as a possibility, rotate the tires front-to-rear one side at a time then drive the vehicle to see if the vibration changes or "moves". If it does, then the tire that just got rotated to the rear is the problem.
Also, the vehicle can be run on a lift to see if the vibration can be duplicated in the shop. Many times, if the vibration is being caused by a drive axle or CV joint, it can be located by running the vehicle on a lift this way. In the case of 4-wheel drive vehicles, it will be necessary to engage the front axles to get them spinning on the lift.
The entire steering and suspension system should be checked for looseness in the tie rods, stabilizer links and frame bushings, control arm bushings, etc. Any looseness in any of these parts can cause vibrations at certain speeds.
I have also seen vibrations that act similar to a tire being out of balance that occurs when the brake rotors loose a balancing weight on some vehicles. This may or may not apply to your vehicle, (yours may not have balance weights in the rotors) but this type of vibration can usually also be verified by running the vehicle on a lift.
Front end vibration has little to do with the brake system on the car. Yes you can get some "brake shudder" when you apply the brakes when you have worn brake rotors or when the rotors are not properly aligned on the hubs. However from what you have said you do not have this problem.
Front end vibrations can be caused by a number of factors some of which are listed below:
1. Front wheels out of balance. (Common problem on many vehicles).
When were the front wheels last balanced? You will get vibrations through the car and the steering wheel at particular speeds. This will/could also occur if the wheel rims have been distorted as a result of abuse.
As a first step the wheels should be balanced and then retest the vehicle for the problem.
It can be impossible to properly balance some wheels because the tires fitted to the rims are of poor quality and contain heavy spots that are impossible to correct with wheel balance weights. If you have cheap tires fitted on the wheel rims then it may be impossible to balance the wheels properly because of the imperfections in the tyre. In that case you will have a permanent wheel vibration problem which will only be rectified by fitting good quality tires and re-balancing the front wheels.
If aftermarket wheel rims have been fitted to the vehicle this can also be a source of vibration. Some wheels on the market are poor quality and can be slightly out of round and/or have heavy spots in them which can be impossible to correct when you fit the tires and have the wheels balanced. Many people think a cheap set of "blingy" aftermarket wheels are a great buy but if they are poorly built (as is often the case) you will usually have no end of problems.
2. The front wheel alignment could be out. If the front wheels have not been aligned in the past 12 months they probably will be out of alignment. When you have re-balanced the front wheels you should have the front wheel alignment checked and then re-aligned if it is out. However if their are worn suspension components (see 4) found on the car which need to be replaced, this repair needs to be done before the front wheels are re-aligned.
3. Worn out wheel bearings in the front hubs. If your front wheel bearings are badly worn you can get a vibration through the steering wheel. If the vehicle has done about 100000 miles or more on the front wheel bearings they should be replaced. In any event , any competent mechanic can jack up the front of the car and check for excess play in the wheel bearings.
4. Worn out suspension components. The front end of the car should be checked for badly worn suspension and steering components.
I would recommend you take the vehicle to a competent mechanic or a suspension specialist in your area and have them check the vehicle for you.
the front rotors are warped ahd either need to be turned or replaced. use quality parts and motorcraft pads. if you use cheap rotors, they stand the chance of either being warped upon install or warping soon after.
do u feel the vibration in the steering wheel or in the seat,i bet the most vibration was coming out of the front brakes and a little out of the rear brakes,u might want to change the rear brakes if the vibration is still annoying,also were the front wheels torqued to spec when installed?? if not u might end up with warped front brakes again,hope this helped
The tires could be out of balance, maybe you clipped a curb. Or your front end could be about nto pass you. Id have the ball joints and tie rod ends looked at. Usually front end wobble leads to more serious issues quickly.
If the brakes are fine, try rotating the wheels.
The tires it self could have a bad belt in it and have a soft spot. Try putting the front tires to the rear and the rear to the front, double check the tire pressure and see if the vibration go's away.
If the vibration is still there then the tires are good and it's the brake rotor or worn steering parts and or needs a wheel alignment. As the front end drops the toe-in changes geometry and may just be out enough to cause the wheels to vibrate.
