    Thanks Glue,
That eased my mind. I changed the other two and was afraid it was one of those.
Now I have the task of wrestling with my EGR valve warning. I changed the valve but still getting the warning. I know there are a couple of more parts in there, solinoid, etc. Hope I dont have to remove and clean the throttle body like I have read online.
    Thanks again Glue!!

Understanding Trouble Codes 111, 211, 172 Hey everyone,

recently pulled some trouble codes from my ECU, the KOEO code gives me 111, which the book says is a system pass, so I am assuming thats not a bad thing. I further went on to get the stored codes which are as follows (I get the same codes while doing a running test as well).

Where exactly is the oxygen sensor on the muffler on a 2003 Ford F150 series pick-up? I have to change the sensor

Not on the muffler, better start studying

They are in the exhaust converters

You replace the front 2 only at 100,000
miles or when they fail

Sensor 1 is the front one closest to the engine

Bank 1 is on the pass side
Bank 2 is on the driver side

You do not do the rear or monitor sensors
unless they fail

Where is the HO2S Bank 2 Sensor 1 located? On the Drivers side or the passenger side od engine? On the Ford 4.2 L

On Ford V type engines Bank #2 is on the left [drivers] side of the engine and Bank 1 is on the right [passenger] side of the engine. Bank 2, sensor 1 would be on the left hand side of the engine ahead of the converter.
