An auto parts supplier might have one

either the belt was old or one of the pulleys locked up...need to see if the pulleys turn before replacing the belt...

google ... <diagram for the fanbelt set up for a 2010 holden captiva diesel engine> ... to see if your engine is shown in diagrams.

Hi Leana a couple of things spring to mind, Yes it could be a matter of a flat battery.You haven't mentioned what year or if it's petrol or diesel.if it's petrol as long as the second car battery is good should be ok. If it's diesel it may struggle but only by trying will you know. However i would advise leads used should be fitted with a surge device to protect all on board computers (ECUs).Connect good battery negative lead to neg batt terminal & Positive lead to poss terminal, on poor battery positive lead to pos terminal on batt and negative lead to a good earth point on 'engine' Be very careful not to reverse any polarities or touch the two cables together. Depending on year of vehicle if series 2 diesel have come across starter motor main cable or alternator main cable or both where the securing nut has come loose damaging starter and loom and alternater wire. This also creates either a clicking noise and or a no start. advise Holden dealer repair.Good luck.
