Question about 1992 Pontiac Bonneville
I had pulled my 1992 bonneville into my driveway with the engine on..(i've had it for a year now no electric problems to speak of) I go back to start the car and when I put the key in I lose all power...but the battery has charge and a jump start does nothing. I was told I may have a bad ignition cylinder (where the car key goes). with the key in if I rotate it back to AUX i sometimes get a ''ding'' like the kind you get when the key is in but the door is open...but still no power or start...not even a turnover. I have checked all visible wires and fuses and all are good....
Sounds like the switch on the column under the dash, there is a push rod between key cyl. and switch. first ck. that.
