2006 jeep cherokee will not start it just clicks. Battery fine.

I hear clicking from the relay box. Battery seems to be fine. Lights and windows work fine. Maybe the starter? If it is starter how do you get to it?

How do I get the fuse box cover off near the steering column. When attempt to start just clicking noise. Horn & lights are working fine. Decided possible blown fuse but can't get cover off. Help...

Clicking points to either bad battery connections (corroded) or a low battery (does not take half as much power to work hor or lights as it does to turn the starter. Also check starter relay and neutral safety switch.connections.

Will not start . thought battery was weak because it seemed like starter was dragging 2 days before not starting. now when i turn key all i hear is relay clicking inside fuse box

Battery and charging system needs to be tested. If the alternator quit you can only run so long on the battery untill it runs out of juice. Boost the truck and let it run for a couple minutes ( remove booster cables ) then remove the negative cable from battery.. if it keeps running the charging system is fine and the battery is to blame.

Turning key to start, only hear a clicking noise. Engine would not turn over. Horn was weak, but all other electrical components seemed to function.

Likely your battery. A battery can have enough voltage to operate lights and other functions but be too weak to crank the car.

Take it out and go to an auto parts store and have it load tested.

I believe it's one of your relays too. There are a few relays under the glove box. If you can determine which one is clicking you can change it out and possibly solve your problem. Good luck...

Grand Cherokee wont start, clicking coming from interior fuse box

Bare or burned wire, most likely battery cable or alternator cable near exhaust system which might be making contact with a metal part somewhere, off and on, because of bumps, vibration, etc.

It sounds like the ignition relay. Meter the relay to see if it is bad.

Not starting, clicks

Check and clean all connections to & from battery, as in the other ends of cables as well. Make sure starter wires are all in good shape & tight as well. When you hear that click, try to locate area or relay doing the clicking. It may just be a faulty relay. Sometimes it's as simple as removing it and plugging it back in to clean the connection. Do you by chance have a 12volt DC test light to test draw on battery?

Jeep won't start until a clicking sound comes from fuse box

The click you hear is the fuel pump relay. It gets its signal to energize from the PCM.If you have a faulty Crankshaft Position Sensor, the PCM will not work. Check for a bad fuel pump relay and also all of the other sensors: Camshaft Position Sensor, MAP Sensor, Idle air Control, Intake Air Sensor, etc.
