Question about Hyundai XG350
How do you get to the rear plugs on a XG 350, it looks like you need to pull off the maniflod, do i need to drain oil, or water also , what do i need for parts , Manifold gasgets , ect ?
Yes you need to pull the manfold to replace the back three plugs. No you do not have to drain water or oil. Use a good double platum plug. While your there replace the three wires. You do not need any gaskets if your cearfull. Good luck

Testimonial: "it's not a hard job if you have the correct tools and make all the hoses, it is just very time wise 2.5 hours taking your time not to do any damage"
The rear three spark plugs are beneath the air intake surge tank. The surge tank needs to be removed. There's a lot of stuff connected to it, including the throttle body and EGR equip. on the back. There is a metal gasket between the surge tank and intake manifold. Best bet is to get a new gasket before re-installing, but if you don't damage it it may still be good to reuse.
No need to drain oil/coolant.
It's such a pain to do the rear three plugs that you really should spend the extra bucks and replace the ignition wires at the same time.
