How i change water pump in a toyota siena

Very involved job, the water pump is driven by the timing belt, you have to take off the whole front of the motor. Recommend you change timing belt and pulleys too, recommended interval is 60,000 miles. Several good videos on youtube cover the process.

I would recommend a shop manual or maybe a DIY book. There are important steps involving the hydraulic belt tensioner.

Trying to change plugs on my 99 deville. can't find the "back" four plugs

it is a northstar, so you need to remove the cop covers, egr and hoses-it is a little more involved than the front, but if you did the fronts, it is about twice as involved.

2001 Chevy Prizm, only 35,000 miles - radiator hoses; drive belt

At 35,000 miles, no, I wouldn't worry about the hoses, or the belt. I have a 150,000 miles on my vehicle, and never changed either one.

Car is running hot occasionally and the serpentine

Well there's only part that has to do with the cooling system and serp belt - the water pump!! Maybe it's starting to seize or has too much play. Either way, when you change the water pump, replace the thermostat and flush the system very thoroughly, those 98-99's are notorious for rust build up. Make sure to pull the heater hoses off and flush the heater core too. After all said is done, purge the coolant and make sure there is heat from the blower. If not you're going to have to replace the heater core because that gets clogged sometimes when flushing.

How to replace power steering high pressure hose?

If the serp belt has become oil contaminated, is worn from use or otherwise damaged, It is a good idea to change it. If it is still in good condition, changing it is optional but good "insurance", especially if age of belt is unknown. Changing the belt is not a mandatory part of a hose replacement, but if it meets any of the standards I've listed then change it!!
