Question about 2000 Dodge Intrepid

I have no power to my car even when i try to jump it

I replaced the battery about 1 month ago then my heater, windows and turn signals stopped working. i went to start it a couple days ago and nothing tryed to jump it still nothing anybody have any suggestions ?

    the thing is it ran for that month before it did it again.

You may have left a important wire off the battery,or ground

Why is this happening


Before you go any further, have the battery checked. If there is an internal problem, it will create all kinds of problems like this.

When trying to start car battery needs jumped it was replaced about 4 months ago,it needs jumped started and keeps turning over trying to start.


this means you most likely have a parasitic lose this were something is drawing voltage from battery even when car is off

1997 Saturn SC2 won't start; not even when jump started. New battery, alternator load tested fine; starter was replaced eight months ago without any issues-don't think anything was wrong with it...


Auto or manual? If its auto try puting it in neutral and try starting. If manual than try pushing the clutch all the way to the floor. There is a switch on thr pedal that when pressed it enganges the starter.

Turn signals stopped working now no power


I concur this is a power supply fault of some sort, insure your battery connections are maintained, meaning clean and good of contact, obtain a voltmeter and test the voltage at the battery contacts it should be about 12.5 or higher, turn the key on and try to start, noting the voltage, if it drops below 11 volts, there's your fault if not a poor ground from the battery and the frame of your vehicle may be faulty but boosting your vehicle from another sports battery fault

have your battery check first.ive never seen a battery that will last for 5 years.shelf life starts as soon as the acid is added to the battery.

Clean the battery cables on both sides,under bolts and replace bolts.
