The audio system is part of diagnostic network of the vechicle.if you have problems with radio speakers and audio you can scan it.to find problem. or look at your glove compartment manual.it will tell you how to receive audio sound.if you cant find manual take it to the dealership.

"2000 Buick Park Ave. rear speakers on deck lid stopped working nine speaker system all others work

First, check the fader on the stereo, then, check the wiring from the stereo to the amp and from the amp to the rear speakers. The amp controls all speakers, not just the rear so it seems that it is still working therefore the fuses must be good. If you have access to any other speakers, I would try plugging one in in place of one of the rear speakers and seeing if it works then you'll know if it's just the speaker or not.

A silly suggestion but have you moved the right left fader control. If the control is on full right fade the left speakers will not be heard.. Faders work back and front and left and right.

Colors for speakers wire behind stereo on 05 yukon

Using the fader and balance controls on the stereo to allow only one speaker output, touch that speaker's output wires to your vehicle's speaker wires until you figure out which pair of wires powers the speaker you need to hook up to. Repeat by changing fader and balance controls for each output you need to identify.
Remember to mark your wires for later reference. You can use masking tape and a pen to do this.

In my 1998 vt Holden commodore, the back speakers stopped working and I thought I just needed to replace them, however the new speakers weren't working as well so I think that it might be the wiring o

If both rear speakers failed at the same time then do the following:

1) Check that the fader control on the stereo is set to power the rear speakers.

2) Check continuity of the wires to the rear by disconnecting the head unit (stereo) and testing with a multimeter.

My best guess is that the head unit is either set incorrectly or that it's output to the rear speakers has failed. It's uncommon for both rear speakers to fail at the same time, so the stereo unit is most likely at fault.

Hi,my audi tt 2001 bose says fad off but how do you get the fader on ?ive tried every button ,also-some times the stereo volume works fine ,then a couple of hours later you can turn it on and it is VERY...

I have a 2001 Audi tt and I've read a tonnnn of columns about how to use the fader.... The best answer I've gotten is that because the tt cabin is so small, the fader has no use, and is basically just there to keep uniformity in the console. As for your second problem, that isn't happening to me. The only thing I notice is that my driver's side speaker is much quieter than the right side, but that is probably from overuse by previous owners. (purchased the car in May 2010)

Front speakers won't work

It may seem silly, but have you checked the fader control on the stereo to make sure that its not just faded to the rear speakers only? As for the speedo, it could be a fault with the cluster itself or a broken wire to the cluster, best to get it attended to by a workshop, probably someone that specialises in auto electrical work as well.

Hope this helps,
Mark.
