Question about 2000 Daewoo Lanos
My 2001 model SG Daewoo Matiz's engine tends to stop after spluttering during light rains or even when the engine bonnet is washed with little water. The injectors have been cleaned and also changed.
I think the problem has some relation with electric connections or some coil or sensors and is related to moist condition. When there is moisture the car splutters a lot and stops. But it starts immediately, there is no starting problem. When it splutters then one has to press the clutch & accelerator. So it becomes difficult driving in busy streets and at slow speed. In hot summers it runs quite efficiently.
Any solutions to this problem of spluttering during rains or even when car is washed.
Has the clutch been replaced recently? There is an earth wire under one of the bell housing bolts,if not refitted can cause all sorts of problems.
