Question about 2003 Chrysler Town & Country
When I tried to start the van, it hesitated a moment like the battery was dying then the speedometer went flying around all the way clockwise and stayed there and doesn't work at all.
It sounds like it needs to be recalibrated. With the key out of the ignition, push in the trip mileage counter for 5 seconds. You should get a reading in the mileage counter which is the computer software version (such as sho2.3). Release the counter and you should see all the instruments and lights go through a self-diagnosis. After this stops, it the needle should go back to 0.
