2003 Jeep Wrangler alarm sounds in cab but no indicator lights flash

The beeping alarm would be for leaving the key in the ignition or the lights on. Maybe a gauge that had dropped to zero.
Let us know if it happens again and what the conditions are.

1997 Jeep Wrangler oil pressure gauge not working

The gage is working because it is coming on sometimes. The oil pressure sending unit on the engine is starting to go. I would replace the oil pressure switch on the engine first.

check your ignition switch, they have a mechanism where if the transmission is on any gear ( including neutral ) it wont turn over all the way back, so if you turned off hte vehicle and got the key out " this happens often " before the last step because of a kinda worn key or switch that allowed you to get it out.
your transmission won go to park.
so try playing wih your switch first, go all the way to start, and all the way to acc or off trying to put the tranny on psrk
and see if that helps.
if not let me know
