Question about 1999 Chevrolet Lumina
I changed the intake gasket in my 1999 3.1 Lumina. Now the fuel system clicks down around the driver-side wheel and it won't start up. We seem to have both spark and fuel plus there is no trouble code being displayed. The battery was disconnected and re-connected as the last step in re-assembly.
When the fuse for the pcm is removed, the clicking stops. I changed the plugs, wires, and pcv valve during the gasket change process. I removed and replaced the wires one at a time. The gas lines and fuel rail were never removed from the lower intake--I rolled it over toward the driver side, cleaned the manifold, replaced the gasket, and reinstalled the same night. The gaslines hook to flexible lines at that point--the flex lines show no signs of collapse or kinking.
Any clues you might be able to give would be greatly appreciated.
Sound like you forgot to put new O-rings on fuel injectors.you have a intake leak through the injectors ports. that why car wont crank .remove fuel rail.replace upper and lower O-rings on fuel injectors.
