There is a starter solenoid on the passenger side fender well. It has 2 big threaded post and 1 or 2 small ones. Have someone turn the key and see if that is what's clicking. If it is take a big screwdriver and jump across the 2 big post and it should start right up

2002 dodge stratus 2.7does not start no click noise was working.new batt

Possible starter motor problem. Try tapping the starter motor with something as you turn the key to the crank position. If it starts or makes any noises, suspect a starter. If no help, you will have to check for start power directly at the starter solenoid and diagnose from there

I checked the small wire and have power ???? What small wire ? The wire on the starter solenoid has B+ voltage when turning the key to start position ? If so and your engine isn't spinning over ,your engine is seized up. Try put a socket an breaker bar on the crankshaft bolt an try turning it by hand .

New stater, stater still makes clicking sound

First you should check to make sure the engine is not locked up by turning it over manually. If you can turn the engine manually, then check your battery terminal ends to make sure you have good, clean and tight connections. Typically, a faulty electrical connection is the main culprit that will cause your situation. If you still suspect a faulty connection, try having someone turn the ignition key while you wiggle the battery cables to see if it will try to start. This should help you narrow down the problem area.

you may have a bad starter or alternator or the starter relay is bad on the firewall or the battery terminals need to be clean or there is a bad wire on the stater give these websites a try www.alldatadiy.com and www.autozone.com if all fails stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your baby SUV wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

My 2002 explored will not start. It don't crank at all. The battery is good and I replaced the starter. What could be the problem.

the wiring connection from the relay or the relay itself might be the problem. locate the relay and turn the key start it then if you hear a click sound on the relay meaning its functioning, but the contact from batt to starter may be damaged.try to jumper it.
