Question about 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser
Out of the blue, the theft alarm light stays on when I try to start the car - this means the immobiliser kicks in and nothing happens! I presume that my keys no longer disarm the system - though they both work on the doors and the instrument panel lights up??
TRY REMOVING IOD(IGNITION OFF DRAW)FUSE FROM UNDERHOOD FUSE BLOCK FOR 30 SECONDS OR SO..IT SHOULD RESET IMMOBILIZER MODULE..IF THE SAME,REMOVE COVERS FROM AROUND STEERING COLUMN AND CHECK WRING NEAR IMMOBILIZER MODULE..FOR BREAKS,PINCHED WIRING,ETC...HAVE YOU TRIED ANOTHER KEY?YOU MAY A BAD TRANSPONDER IN KEY..;ET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPS
