check connection or ground, as heat sets in, causes high resistance, and then signal will go open...verify ground and wire repair...solder is best for repair VS b*tt connector
sounds strange, but does your hazzard lights work? If they do play with your switch wiggle etc while trying your turn signals. I have seen the hazzard light swith malfuction and cause this issue in the past. Good luck
Good job, and good joe to you for solvin it! Now you'll remember that's a common indicator of a burnt out bulb. For some reason I can't explain, that is how a bad bulb acts on the flasher unit - by more rapid clicking (breaking contact inside the flasher relay at a quicker rate). It seems both the front and rear signal lights have to be working for the normal flasher rate ...well good.
The check connector is located near the No. 2 relay box. Short terminals T and E1 of the check connector. (jump together)
2. Turn the ignition ON. do not start engine.
3. Read codes by the number of flashes of the "CHECK ENGINE" WARNING LIGHT.
4. System normal: blink every 0.25 seconds.
5. Malfuction Code: light will blink a number of times equal to the malfuction code.Between first digit and second digit, 1.5 sec
Between code and code 2.5 sec, between all malfuction codes 4.5 sec
6. The diagnostics code series will be repeated as long as the connector terminals T and E1 are jumped.
7. Codes are 2 digit numbers
po650 malfuction idicator light control curcuit
po700 transmission control system (mil request)
malfuction indicator light is the check engine light
