My 2002 GMC 2500hd with an 8.1 eng has two history codes p0101 and p0700. How do I fix it?

if it's in the transmission other than ck'ing to see if you have proper level and quality fluid level in trans theres not much a homeowner can do your gonna need to find a good trans shop
1st try getting a fluid flush and fill this is a lower cost fix that sometimes works and you don't need to remove trans to do it

Overheating

Have you checked to see if the cooling fans are coming on? Is the coolant level low? Could also be a weak water pump. Does the temperature gauge appear to work normally or do you go from low temp to high temp and then back to low rather quickly? If so, it could be a bad thermostat.

Sounds like the fluid level is too high. Look at the cap it has a level incator on it, the proper level is on the lower part of it, it also has a cold level mark [ the fluid expands when hot ]. Remove some fluid to meet the proper level, a turkey baster works good.

sounds like the blower motor resistor is bad. it's located on the passenger side under the dash behind the blower motor itself. Just changed mine on my 2004 sierra. Fairly easy job to do. Hope this helps :)

Check fluid level in clutch master cylinder, if fluid is full then bleed clutch system.

If you still have no pedal resistance you will need a new master or slave cylinder for the clutch.
