the weakest link from water entering engine is intake manifold losing its torque. their are four water ports right next to valve ports. two in front two at rear of intake manifold. they warp fairly easy.so check before re installing
I beleive the issue may be more the drains from around the sunroof. The factory sunroof typically have some small drain or weep holes to allow rain water to drain away (eaier to get rid of the water then hold it back) with the sunroof fully open look for these small drain holes and try running a fine wire thru them to clear any possible existing obstruction(s) If this is not the case I'd have to guess that the weather stripping has worn and weathered and would need replacement.

check the manual for a code in it should be 4 to 6 digits if its not in there you will have to ring the manufacteror for the reset code hope that helped thats what my mum did and they told her
