well misfires are 95& of the time bad spark plugs they build up alot of carbon and gap them selves so they run like crap but i wish i lived by u i could change out the plugs and wires and coils btw on ur car ist coil on coil plugs

the engine light can come on for many reasons.....from your petrol cap not being put back on properly to a major engine fault......so it is hard to diagnose what it might be....if you take the car to an auto parts place, some will read the code for you for free, and then you can make your decision from then....this is the only piece of advice I am able to provide with this information....

Well you can call around to some junkyards and get a cheap price
on a used unit, or do an exchange as I know there are rebuilders for these things. That may save you some money on the parts, however the labor is going to beat you up anywhere as it it much more involved than removing and replacing a few bolts. The vehicle will have to be aligned so find a shop which can do that too.

Special order from a dealer or junk yard .There is a place in Columbus Ohio called Ropple the number is 614-278-9002 that might have it.
