I need to replace the starter on a 2001 Hyundai accent. How do I do so?

1. Raise front of vehicle
2. Disconnect Negative Terminal of Battery
3. Remove Intake Air Box & Hose (air filter box)
4. Remove two 14mm starter bolts (transmission side)
5. Go under vehicle & disconnect starter wiring, then remove starter.
Installation is reverse order of removal

I dont know where is the second bolt for my stater on my 2000 hyunday accent

one bolt goes though from the starter side and the other goes in though the transmission housing and screws into the starter. You may need to remove the aircleaner housing to get down into the area that the bolt head is in.

How hard is it to change the starter on a Hyundai accent

should be very easy, first disconnect the battery, then remove the positive wire of the starter motor solenoid with a 12mm spanner and the ignition wire should just pull off with your fingers, then there should be 2 or 3 bolts that hold the starter motor to the gearbox, which would also be a 12mm spanner or a 14mm spanner, then it is out,to fit is the reverse

2005 Hyundai Accent overheating, radiator replaced, obviously the thermostat was not replaced. Where is it located? What tools will be required?

A car can overheat for a lot of reasons.First make sure this is the problem by checking the radiator hose or water level. Open the radiator cap when the car is cold, crank it, and then watch the water level. If it drops when the car warms up this is not the problem.
The tools you will need will depend on what you have to take off to get to it. If you can access the thermostat you should only need a ratchet or wrench to remove it and something to scrape off old gasket with.
Location:The thermostat should be inside the thermostat housing on the motor. Follow your top radiator hose to the place where it goes into the motor. There should be a sort of dome shaped housing there with probably a bolt on either side of it.The thermostat is inside that.
This is a reasonably easy job, but shouldn't be done carelessly. It's also kind of messy.
When the car is cold remove the bolts from the housing with a ratchet. Lots of coolant and water will drain out. But the thermostat will be visible.Pay attention to which side of the thermostat is up.It should just lift up. Remove all the old gasket from around the area and clean it up well. Replace the thermostat and gasket then the bolts. Be very careful not to over tighten the bolts or the housing will be ruined.

your starter always going to be somewhere near the flywheel of your vehicle it might be on the bottom or something but just take a look where your batter cables go and alternator cables follow them and they may lead you to the starter
